For everyone who has visited my site since last night you were probably very confused with the jumbled mess you saw. What was supposed to be a quick WordPress update and theme installation turned into a 6 hour (and counting) configuration nightmare.
To make a long story short, I’ve decided to combine my homepage and blog under one design umbrella, for a couple of reasons. I’ve never been really happy having two separate “sections” to my site and it also makes maintenance a headache. With one cohesive site I can better serve the general public and also more people will be able to read my blog.
I find from looking at my Google Analytics statistics (a great tool for you webmasters if you aren’t already using it) that many people search for properties but never click through to the blog, and hopefully this new design scheme will make it easier for visitors to do some reading while they’re here.
I’ve got another few hours before everything works together so keep your seatbelts on folks, it should all be over soon!

Michael – great looking theme! Wordpress has some great tools and really useful plugins too.
Thanks Paul, still working out the conversion kinks (from a separate blog and homepage) and trying to move content over. I should have done this months ago!
