		<description>Yep it&#039;s definitely painful when builders slash prices. Back in 2006 in Las Vegas, Pulte cut their prices by $100,000 one day to the next and caused a huge uproar. I can only imagine being one of those homeowners who bought just before the price drop.</description>

		<description>In my neighborhood of new builds, the builder sold spec houses that were upgraded to the max at prices $25000 to $40000 less than what everyone else paid.  That pretty much killed our comps.  Now there are about 3 or 4 short sales listed here.  

People don&#039;t think about the builders and usually just blame the lenders and borrowers.  In my neighborhood, the builder screwed us over.  (I know its a business and they have to make money, etc.)</description>
